  • Experience in cinema, film, arts and culture, or events is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of film exhibition and cinema operations; familiarity with DCP operations, V-Mix, and audiovisual systems is an advantage.
  • Good organizational, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in basic office applications and administrative documentation.
  • Willing to work on-site, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, cleanliness, and readiness of Cinematheque Centre Manila.
  • Plan and coordinate film screenings, programs, events, and related logistics.
  • Coordinate film schedules, partnerships, venue requirements, and other exhibition activities.
  • Provide quality customer service and address audience inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Monitor ticket sales and assist in preparing financial and operational reports.
  • Assist in preparation and monitoring of budgets and other financial requirements.
  • Implement and coordinate marketing and promotional activities to increase audience attendance.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local communities, institutions, filmmakers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor proper use, maintenance, and readiness of cinema equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, standards, and policies.

Job description

  • Plan and coordinate film screenings, programs, events, and related logistical requirements.
  • Coordinate film schedules, partnerships, venue requirements, and other exhibition activities.
  • Provide quality customer service and address audience inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Monitor ticket sales and revenue and assist in the preparation of financial and operational reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and other financial requirements of the Centre.
  • Implement and coordinate marketing and promotional activities to increase audience attendance and program reach.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local communities, institutions, filmmakers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor the proper use, maintenance, and operational readiness of cinema equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, operational standards, and applicable FDCP policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of screenings, attendance, revenues, programs, partnerships, and other operational activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular operational, accomplishment, and other reports as required by the Exhibition Division.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Communication, Arts, or related fields.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in film exhibition, cinema operations, events, program coordination, or related work is preferred.
  • Experience in cinema, film, arts and culture, or events is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of film exhibition and cinema operations; familiarity with DCP operations, V-Mix, and audiovisual systems is an advantage.
