Job summary

First Point Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise software deployment across international markets from Manila. You will oversee planning, deployment, system integration, user validation, production launch, and handover to support teams.

The role requires coordinating distributed teams, stakeholder management, and travel across the Asia Pacific region. Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin preferred.

Qualifications

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the deployment and rollout of enterprise software platforms across international markets. This role will oversee complex customer engagements from planning through production launch, working closely with customers, technical teams, and external partners to ensure successful implementation outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership capabilities with a solid understanding of enterprise technology delivery and can effectively coordinate distributed teams in multicultural environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software implementation programs, covering project planning, solution deployment, system integration, user validation, production launch, and transition to support teams.
• Drive project execution against agreed timelines, scope, budget, and quality targets.
• Establish governance structures and delivery frameworks to ensure transparent project tracking and stakeholder alignment.
• Serve as the primary engagement lead for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Coordinate communication among customer teams, internal product and engineering groups, and external service providers.
• Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and escalation management to maintain project momentum.

Delivery Management

• Create and maintain project schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and executive status reports.
• Monitor project dependencies, identify delivery risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage scope changes and ensure appropriate impact assessment and approval processes.

Quality & Operational Readiness

• Oversee solution validation activities including integration testing, business acceptance testing, security reviews, and production readiness assessments.
• Ensure all deliverables meet agreed quality standards and customer acceptance requirements.
• Support post-implementation stabilization and knowledge transfer activities.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams consisting of consultants, engineers, analysts, and local implementation partners.
• Provide coaching and guidance to project members while fostering collaboration across geographically distributed teams.
• Promote continuous improvement by refining project methodologies, templates, and delivery best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading enterprise software deployments, digital transformation projects, or technology implementation programs.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex software solutions in customer-facing environments.
• Strong experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across both onsite and remote delivery models.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent Mandarin is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Proficiency in project collaboration and planning tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the Asia Pacific region.

Preferred Experience

• Background in financial services, fintech, risk management, digital banking, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience working on integration-heavy projects involving APIs, data migration, enterprise applications, or cloud platforms.
• Understanding of information security, regulatory compliance, and governance requirements in enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering projects across Southeast Asian markets.
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certifications.
• Prior experience working with consulting organizations, technology vendors, or systems integration partners.
