Job summary

AECOM, a global infrastructure leader, is seeking a cost/project controls professional in the Philippines. The role involves working with financial systems, applying accounting principles, and supporting cost, schedule, and performance analysis across projects.

You will participate in data collection, forecasting, and reporting, with exposure to earned value, scope control, and change management to help projects stay on budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Works with the company financial and cornerstone systems and processes.
• Applies financial terminology, measures, data analysis concepts and principles.
• Recognizes actions that may impact project finances.
• Develops and maintains WBS for small projects.
• Assists in using drawings and specs for baseline data.
• Begins basic analysis of cost and schedule variances.
• Grows knowledge of accounting principles.
• Assists in assembling data for trending and forecasting.
• Understands progress data and participates in collection of performance trends.
• Familiar with earned value, scope control and change management concepts.
• Collects data for manpower, labor hours, and costs vs. budgets.
• Analyzes data for actual cost vs. funding limits.
• Supports tracking PO and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
• Familiar with project revenue and cost concepts.
• Exposed to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals.
• Introduced to performance management and cost/schedule integration.
• Develops knowledge of scope control and change management.
• Supports project reporting process as required.
• May participate in project cost review meetings.
