Job summary

Insight, a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator, is seeking a Project Controller to oversee services delivered in APAC from our Pasig office. You will work with Project Managers and Practice Leads to ensure budgets, schedules, and governance are maintained across projects.

You will monitor progress, coordinate with vendors, and generate reports to keep leadership informed. This role emphasizes accuracy, cost control, and proactive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in project coordination/control.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Experience utilizing project management software and accounting software to assist in setting and monitoring costs of a project.
• Display strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience working with a diverse work group of vendors, executive managers, subcontractors, consultants and other professionals.
• Ability to write reports and/or business correspondence and to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, or teammates.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals to ensure quality and governance processes are followed.
• Initial setup of projects in relevant management tools (Polaris/SharePoint).
• Continually monitor and evaluate each step to meet budgetary and deadline goals.
• Coordinate with partners and third-party vendors for status updates.
• Report to project managers and practice leads on progress and staffing needs.
• Ensure milestones are invoiced when deliverables are completed.
• Maintain updated resource schedules and track project budgets.
• Approve resource timesheets and prevent budget overruns.
• Create and maintain reports on project development and completion.
• Present reports to senior managers.

As a Project Controller, you are responsible for working within all stages of a project lifecycle for services delivered within APAC. This role is to work closely with Project Managers, Account Directors and Practice Leads to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly. You’ll be responsible to monitor the progress of a project to ensure that it is working within the confines of set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports to managers. You may also make suggestions for improvements to project operations as needed. Along the way you'll get to:

What you'll do at Insight

• Ensure project milestones are invoiced once deliverables are completed.
• Keep resource schedule up to date based on project resource requirements
• Approve resource timesheets and ensure project budget are not exceeded
• Creating and maintaining reports addressing all aspects of project development and completion.
• Present the details of these reports during group or one-on-one meetings with senior managers.
• Recognize which areas of project coordination activities need to be re-addressed in order to maintain efficiency and cost control.
• Present their ideas to the PMO Director and assume the responsibility of implementing and managing these changes in the project management cycle.

What you'll need to join Insight

• Bachelors Degree
• With 2-3 years of relevant work experience in project coordination/control
