Job summary

Insight in Pasig is seeking a Project Controller to manage budgeting, scheduling, and coordination for APAC projects. You’ll work with Project Managers, Account Directors and Practice Leads to track progress, control costs, and keep milestones on track.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in project coordination, be proficient with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and familiar with project management and accounting tools. A hybrid setup and team-friendly culture await.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgeting, scheduling, and coordination across APAC.
• Prepare progress reports for managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Account Directors and Practice Leads.
• Ensure milestones are invoiced when deliverables are completed.
• Maintain up-to-date resource schedules and timesheets.
• Suggest improvements to project operations and cost controls.
• Present reports to senior managers and PMO leadership.

As a Project Controller, you are responsible for working within all stages of a project lifecycle for services delivered within APAC. This role is to work closely with Project Managers, Account Directors and Practice Leads to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly. You’ll be responsible to monitor the progress of a project to ensure that it is working within the confines of set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports to managers. You may also make suggestions for improvements to project operations as needed. Along the way you'll get to:

What you’ll do at Insight

• Review Project Proposals to ensure an expected quality ismaintainedandgovernanceprocesses are followed.
• Initial setup of the Projects in relevant management tools (Polaris/SharePoint etc.)
• Continuallymonitorand evaluate each step of a project to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline goals.
• Coordination with partners and 3rd party vendors to obtain project status updates
• Report toProjectManagers/Practice Leads/Account Managersto discuss the progress of each project and talk about staffing needs, schedule changes and more.
• Ensure project milestones are invoiced once deliverables are completed.
• Keep resource schedule up to date based on project resource requirements
• Approve resource timesheets and ensure project budget are not exceeded
• Creating and maintaining reports addressing all aspects of project development and completion.
• Present the details of these reports during group or one-on-one meetings with senior managers.
• Recognize which areas of project coordination activities need to be re-addressed in order to maintain efficiency and cost control.
• Present their ideas to the PMO Director and assume the responsibility of implementing and managing these changes in the project management cycle.

What you’ll need to join Insight

• With 2-3 years of relevant work experience in project coordination/control
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Experience utilizing project management software and accounting software to assist in setting and monitoring costs of a project is preferred.
• Display strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience working with a diverse work group of vendors, executive managers, subcontractors,consultantsand other professionals.
• Ability towritereports and/or business correspondence and to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, or teammates.
