Job summary

CDCC Builders Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer (Cost & Schedule) to monitor and update budget, cost, and schedule for construction projects. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a professional license, and at least 3 years of construction experience, with strong skills in MS Office and MS Project and excellent communication.

The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating cost and scheduling activities with internal teams to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Registered Civil Engineer license or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, cost control, scheduling and project management processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare master schedule using Excel and/or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare weekly report on construction cost and schedule.
• Prepare the baseline cost and schedule.
• Analyze construction cost based on actual and anticipated cost.
• Monitor major cost drivers and suggest budget solutions.
• Notify Project-In-Charge regarding budget status.
• Conduct cost reconciliation with Project Accountant to ensure accuracy.
