Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Social Work, or Forestry.
  • Experience with Indigenous People is preferred.
  • Deep appreciation for Philippine conservation realities and commitment to environmental impact.
  • Proven expertise in community organizing, campaigning, and multi‑stakeholder project management.
  • Versatile communicator capable of conflict resolution and independent leadership.
  • Physically prepared for sustained outdoor work and regular interaction with the environment.
  • 1–3 years in advocacy or community mobilization; highly motivated fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Up to 30k depending on related experience
  • Preferably female candidates

Responsibilities

  • Education & Advocacy: Lead awareness initiatives and values formation sessions focused on heritage and conservation for local residents, youth, and government entities.
  • Local Linkages: Cultivate and manage productive relationships with Barangay officials, law enforcement agencies, and LGUs.
  • Conservation Campaigning: Drive localized campaigning efforts that align with the georeserve’s protection and restoration objectives.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Manage external activities and volunteer programs to safeguard and reforest the Masungi landscape.
  • Livelihood Development: Oversee creation and implementation of sustainable enterprise initiatives for community benefit.
