Qualifications

• Valid PRC License as an Architect in the Philippines.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in architectural design and project delivery on construction sites.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Philippine Building Code and regulations.
• Ability to develop comprehensive architectural documentation and drawings.
• Experience in project coordination and site management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with sustainability and green-building practices.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a Project Architect (Licensed) to join our dynamic team on a project-based, full-time contract. This is a strategic position within our Design & Architecture division, based in Cebu City, Cebu. As a Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in translating conceptual designs into buildable solutions, overseeing architectural execution, and ensuring that projects meet both design intent and regulatory compliance. This role is essential to our mission of delivering exceptional built environments and will have direct influence on project success, stakeholder satisfaction, and the quality of our deliverables.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements and building codes
2. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved designs
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve design issues and optimise construction methods
4. Review and assess shop drawings, material samples, and construction submissions for conformance with contract documents
5. Provide technical support during tender processes and assist with value engineering initiatives
6. Ensure all architectural work complies with relevant Philippine building codes, regulations, and industry standards
7. Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and documentation for project records
8. Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
9. Communicate design changes and modifications to all relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
10. Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on architectural standards and best practices

What we’re looking for

1. Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License as an Architect in the Philippines
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in architectural design and project delivery on construction sites
3. Strong proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and other Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools
4. In-depth knowledge of Philippine Building Code and other relevant construction regulations and standards
5. Proven ability to develop comprehensive architectural documentation and construction drawings
6. Experience in project coordination and site management during construction phases
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
8. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to quality
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
10. Familiarity with sustainability principles and green building practices is preferred
11. Experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is advantageous
