Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Role Overview

The Programme Manager will lead and manage community-focused initiatives, with a strong emphasis on volunteer engagement, programme development, training, and service delivery. The role involves overseeing volunteer management processes, coordinating support services, driving programme improvements, and contributing to organisation-wide outreach and engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement frameworks and initiatives to enhance volunteer engagement and effectiveness.

• Coordinate and manage service activations and programme operations.

• Oversee volunteer recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention processes.

• Conduct interviews and assessments for prospective volunteers.

• Organise engagement, appreciation, and networking events for volunteers.

• Develop, review, and enhance volunteer management policies, processes, and frameworks.

• Support community outreach and volunteer-led initiatives.

• Facilitate wellbeing and engagement programmes for volunteers and stakeholders.

• Monitor programme effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.

• Provide professional consultation and support on programme-related matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Behavioural Sciences, Community Development, Human Services, or a related discipline.

• Experience in programme management, volunteer management, community engagement, social services, or related fields will be advantageous.

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, project coordination, or community programmes is preferred.

• Familiarity with public sector, non-profit, community services, or social impact environments would be beneficial.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.

• Compassionate, resilient, and comfortable working with diverse groups and stakeholders.
