Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a capable Program Manager to lead cross-functional NPI initiatives in the Philippines. You will guide schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation while coordinating with design, marketing, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure timely product launches.

You will communicate progress to customers and leadership, document lessons learned, and advocate for continuous improvement in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as Program Manager or proven project management track record.
• Engineering or CS degree required.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
• PMI or PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to Mass Production.
• Support RFQ proposals for multinational customers with Marketing and Design Engineering.
• Plan and manage development schedules, resource plans, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage projects per Stage Gate process and raise scope/financial changes with recommendations.
• Own project KPIs: schedule, cost, quality, compliance, customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and risk mitigation plans, escalations, and issue resolution.
• Serve as primary contact with customer Project and Design reps; coordinate with Philippines and China for materials and factory readiness.
• Coordinate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to meet DFM, cycle-time, and quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional project team through all phases of New Product Development.
• Support Marketing and Design Engineering in preparing RFQ proposals for multinational customers.
• Plan and manage New Product development schedules and resource plans to deliver products on time and within budget.
• Manage projects according to a Stage Gate process and ensure that any scope changes or changes to the financial targets are raised with recommendations for the appropriate action.
• Accountable for project KPI’s: schedule, product and project cost targets, quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Provide overall direction and ownership to programs, including risk mitigation plans, escalations and issue resolution.
• Be a primary point of contact working with customer Project and Design representatives.
• Work with manufacturing and procurement teams in the Philippines and China to ensure material and factory build readiness.
• Coordinate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure DFM, manufacturing cycle-time and quality targets are met.
• Ensure a smooth Mass Production product launch.
• Prepare reports and updates for presentation to customers, senior management and internal stakeholders.
• Responsible for documenting all aspects of the development project and ensuring that data is captured and used as lessons learned to drive continuous improvement

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of any Engineering or Any Computer Science related courses
• At least 4 years experience as Program Manager or with a proven track-record of project management
• Perform a highly visible role in NPI development. Be a site and company advocate to internal and external customers
• Good analytical and problem solving tools
• Experience with PCBA design and/or manufacturing
• Good interpersonal skills. Capable of team building (external & internal) to drive cross-functional collaboration
• Ability and desire to meet project, tasks and/or assignment deadlines
• Assertive, analytical, with strong communication, presentation and organizational skills in a multicultural environment
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum processes an advantage
• PMI or PMP an advantage
