Job summary

CIIT College of Arts & Technology in the Philippines seeks a Dean or Program Head to lead the development of the BSIS program in Business and Data Analytics, aligned with enterprise systems, BI, and digital transformation needs.

Ensure CHED compliance, oversee syllabi and course offerings, recruit and develop faculty, and foster strategic industry links to enhance graduate employability and program relevance.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in CS/IT/IS or related fields.
• 3–5 years in educational management as Dean or Program Head.
• 3–5 years of industry experience.
• Proven CHED compliance experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
• CHED training or accreditation seminars preferred.
• Leadership and academic management programs advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the BSIS program in Business and Data Analytics, aligned with enterprise systems, business intelligence, and digital transformation needs.
• Ensure compliance with CHED CMO, MORPHE, and other government regulations in offering academic programs.
• Prepare, review, and approve course offerings, syllabi, and reference materials aligned with regulatory standards.
• Build and recruit a qualified faculty pool and lead the Academics Team in faculty development planning.
• Develop and implement a Faculty Development Program aligned with institutional goals.
• Prepare regular academic reports and updates for the Management Committee and School Board.
• Establish and maintain strategic academic and industry linkages to enhance program relevance and graduate employability.
• Ensure smooth development, transition and continuity of the program in coordination with other offices.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or other related fields.
  
• At least 3-5 years of extensive experience in educational management and administrative roles as a Dean or Program Head.
• At least 3–5 years of extensive and related industry experience.
• Proven experience in CHED compliance, academic program creation, and policy development.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and business communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
• Adaptable, innovative, and open to new tools and processes.
• Excellent command of the English language. (written and verbal)
