iTeach Schools was started in 2015 to change what school education looks like for students from low-income communities in India. Children from these communities have far lower chances of finishing college or building a career than their better-off peers, and iTeach exists to close that gap. The organisation runs free, high-impact schools and a college-to-career programme for students in Pune and Navi Mumbai, and is known for its professional development, its results-focused team culture, and school design built around the student. Its work carries young people from the classroom all the way to a first sustainable job. This role sits within iTeach's College to Career (C2C) team, which supports alumni to reach college, stay in college, and find work that matches their own vision for their life.
The College to Career team works through four centres: Admissions and Scholarships, Near-peer Mentoring, Lifeguarding, and the Career Centre. Only about 10% of Indian students make it through college, and fewer still from under-resourced backgrounds, with many pushed to start work early, marry, or drop out. As Program Associate you will carry this work in the Khed area, in partnership with Forbes Marshall, whose long-running programme supports girls in Khed to build careers of their choice, support their families, and make independent decisions about their lives. From 2025-26 iTeach C2C is the knowledge and implementation partner for that project. The role has three parts: mentoring around 150 students from Grade 8 to Grade 12, finding internship and skill-development opportunities and counselling students into them, and training students on the skills they need.
