CLIENT FINANCE MANAGER – WORKPLACE MANAGEMENT
Job Description
What This Job Involves Support Account Managers & account leadership team in handling business, operational, financial decision making, risk mitigation, other pricing advice and all account specific finance-related matters. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Business Partnering and Contract Management: Be the trusted financial advisor to the Operations Lead/Account Lead/Account manager, providing data-driven insights to support decision making; Collaborate with various stakeholders including operation teams, shared service centres and third party service providers; Identify financial risks and opportunities through analysis of performance indicators; Point of contact (POC) with client on finance related matters; Assists with on-going cost saving projects, including identification, monitoring and analysis.
- Financial Management & Control: Collaborate with site teams and SSC to ensure the lifecycle of vendors’ PO processing align with JLL policies; Manage vendor payments and monthly billing in compliance with JLL policies and guidelines; Monitor accounts receivables to optimise cash flow; Ensure robust documentation that meet audit requirements and maintain integrity of all financial transactions through effective processes.
- Month End Closing: Lead the month-end closing process (expense/revenue accrual etc) for the business line, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; Investigate and resolve unusual variances or accounting issues; Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, local reporting standards and client contractual requirements; Responsible in ensuring month end closing procedures are properly performed and investigated i.e. Bank Reconciliation, GRNV.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Maintain comprehensive account-level tracker containing key P&L metrics (revenue, costs, management fee etc) and business status and ensure timely update with proper supporting documentation; Prepare and present month end financial packages with meaningful variance analysis for internal stakeholders; Partner with the Operations Lead to develop comprehensive annual budget and rolling forecasts; Monthly, quarterly & ad hoc reporting and variance analyses for client and corporate requirements; Annual budget & quarterly forecasts for both client and corporate; Working closely with the local country Finance teams on profitability/revenue variances, issues and other requirements and task; Adhoc scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.
- Process Remediation & Standardisation: Resolve existing financial process gaps and operational issues within the business line; Establish robust framework for documentation and financial governance; Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
- Client invoicing & Collection and Vendor payments: Manage client invoicing and vendor payments in coordination with JBS Support and maintain all necessary guidelines and manuals associated with the accounts payable / receivable process; Accountable for the timely coordination of the JLL invoice processing and monitoring the accounts receivable ensuring management of JLL cash flow; Support overall P2P process and provide guidance to account team.
- Reporting: You with be reporting to the Head of REMS Client Finance and Business Partner, WPM (Philippines).
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- Preferably a certified accountant (CPA), or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 5 years of finance manager experience
- Candidate with regional exposure in APAC will be an added advantage
- Experience in leading finance in matrix environment including ability to manage through complexity and ambiguity
- Business partnering and commercial finance experience
- Experience working with regional and shared-services models
- Experienced in navigating complex matrix environments
