Job summary

SUNINE TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a precise Production Assembly technician to assemble laser modules and optical components per BOMs and work instructions, maintaining high accuracy and following safety protocols.

You will support daily order processing, prepare shipping labels and documentation, and manage inventory in ERP/Excel, ensuring accurate stock levels and on-time shipments.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Must read BOM and drawings.
• Experience in production assembly for electronics/optics.
• Willingness to learn and perform accurate packing/stock control.

Responsibilities

• Assemble laser modules and optical sub-assemblies per BOM and work instructions.
• Process orders, pack, and verify against sales orders / packing lists; prepare shipping docs.
• Maintain inventory, conduct cycle counts, update ERP/Excel, and ensure FIFO for parts.

Job description

Candidate is responsible for precise assembly of laser optical components and sub-assemblies, while supporting daily order processing and inventory control to ensure accurate, on-time shipments. This role requires high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Assembly

• Assemble laser modules, optical components, and electro-optical sub-assemblies as per BOM, drawings, and work instructions
• Perform precision tasks: mechanical fitting
• Conduct visual inspection and basic functional testing (power check, alignment check)
• Follow laser safety (Class 3B/4)
• Record assembly data and maintain production logs

2. Order Processing

• Pick, pack, and verify customer orders against sales orders / packing lists
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and serial number tracking
• Coordinate final inspection before shipment
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and meet delivery deadlines

3. Inventory Management

• Manage incoming and outgoing inventory for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Perform stock counts, cycle counts, and update inventory system (ERP / Excel)
• Monitor low-stock levels and raise purchase requests
• Maintain proper labeling, bin location, and FIFO for parts
• Handle Goods Receipt and Goods Issue accurately

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

• Experience in electronic / laser / precision assembly

• Able to read BOM, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions

• Basic computer skills - ERP system, MS Excel, inventory software

Soft Skills:

• High attention to detail and steady hands for small parts
• Organized, responsible, and able to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork

Qualifications:

• Nitec / Diploma in Electronics, Photonics, Precision Engineering or related
• 1-3 years experience in production assembly in electronics / optics / precision manufacturing industry
• Candidates without experience but with good hands-on skills and willingness to learn will be considered
