Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila, is seeking a hands-on supervisor for the extrusion line involved in welding electrodes. You will lead a team, perform machine maintenance, and ensure strict safety practices in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a engineering degree, relevant experience, and strong communication. Overtime and Sunday shifts may be required; a Php 2,000 monthly allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical engineering is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• 3 years of manufacturing industry experience is desirable.
• Experience in nails, screws, or wire drawing industries highly preferred.
• Hands-on supervisor experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs hands-on work in the extrusion of welding electrodes
• Supervise and lead the team in the machine line
• Conduct regular maintenance (e.g. greasing) of machines and equipment
• Ensure all subordinates adhere to safety policies
• Should be willing to work overtime and on Sunday/s as necessary
• Produce production reports for outputs of wire drawing and cutting machines

• Experience in manufacturing of nails (paco), screws, or industries that operate wire drawing machines is highly preferred
• Proven experience as hands-on supervisor
• Should be detail oriented, fast learner, and adaptive to a fast-paced work environment
• Possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Should be willing to be hands on
