Job summary

• Graduate of engineering courses with leadership aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure economical operation of assigned utilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with QC Inspector and Logistics regarding specifications and schedules.
• Promote quality and productivity consciousness among workers.
• Minimize waste of materials, energy, and manpower.
• Assist in analyzing variances of actual versus standard costs and take corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot production issues due to equipment breakdowns, shortages, or quality problems.
• Support supervision of production utilities and maintenance activities.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, Production Supervisor is responsible for administering, ensuring proper loading and distributing of manpower on his/her area of responsibility. He/She is also responsible to operate, control and monitor production equipment, materials and processes; and to conduct studies as assigned by immediate superior and to supervise production and/or maintenance activities effectively and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure that assigned utility and auxiliary equipments are operated at the most economical means; and that the needs of production areas are serviced effectively and efficiently.
• Coordinates with QC Inspector and Logistic coordinator/Sales regarding paper specifications and production schedule respectively.
• To increase and maintain quality and productivity consciousness of workers
• To prevent and control his/her area in terms of waste in raw materials, factory supplies, energy, manpower and other overhead expenses
• To assist in analyzing variances of actual versus standard cost and initiate action to correct
• To trouble shoot and take actions on problems experienced in production due to equipment breakdown, material shortages and quality
• To assist in the supervision or production utilities and maintenance works
