Job summary

Corning Inc. in a dynamic manufacturing environment is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production teams and drive daily performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will oversee daily manufacturing activities, develop personnel, and support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 2–4 years on MMC lines are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience on MMC Production lines.
• 2–4 years of experience leading and/or supervising personnel.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production personnel, drive team performance, and manage the overall administration of assigned staff.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule, output, and business unit goals.
• Monitor production flow, resolve operational issues, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensure the training and certification of assigned personnel, and guarantee compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in core team and quality meetings to support plant objectives and metrics.
• Lead or participate in projects related to process improvement, productivity, and new product/process introductions.
• Participation in audits.
