Job summary

Qualifications

• College/Vocational graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 6 months work experience, preferably as a Production Specialist or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical & instrumentation, mechanical, and chemical processes.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong observation and analytical thinking skills.

About the role

The Production Specialist is responsible for monitoring all process parameters to ensure they remain within target range and are recorded in a timely manner. The role involves reporting equipment abnormalities to supervisors, lining up valves in tank farm areas for raw materials or finished goods, and monitoring chemical consumption with refills as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all field parameters and check performance of all process equipment, especially rotating equipment
• Observe changes in operation and monitor Rotameter Flow, adjusting accordingly
• Discharge ESP and Cyclone to Acid Waste Drums
• Bring hourly product samples to laboratory during plant operation
• Transfer molten sulfur from UG tank to Head tank
• Monitor Boiler Operation and refill Industrial salt and boiler mate
• Monitor Cooling tower operation, manually replenish water in basin, and monitor and refill chemicals as needed
• Monitor Instrument air compressor pressure and drain water in pressured vessel
• Monitor Water tank level and refill if neededLine up valves in tank farm area for raw material or finish product storage tanks
• Input all parameter readings in excel file/MS Word
• Maintain cleanliness of working area
• Deliver clear information to superior and report any abnormalities found during shift
• Submit daily accomplishments report on or before 5pm
• Comply with company policies, code of conduct and safety procedures
• Perform other tasks as instructed by immediate supervisor and/or Management

About you
