Job summary

Agripacific Corporation in Tanza, Cavite is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, quality, and safety across the plant. You will direct all production activities, manage the Production and In-Line Maintenance teams, coordinate with Engineering and Warehouse, and implement the action plan to reduce scrap and downtime while meeting weekly targets.

The ideal candidate is licensed in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years in FMCG

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Engineer per job requirement.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, preferably FMCG or Food & Beverage.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, packaging, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

About the role Agripacific Corporation is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team in Tanza, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our manufacturing operations. As Production Manager, you will be responsible for directing all aspects of production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. This role is central to achieving our operational excellence and contributing to the continued success and growth of Agripacific Corporation.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

• Oversees the production operations including in-line maintenance, ensuring that the plant achieves the production targets through effective utilisation of manpower, materials, machines, and methods at minimal cost.

• Ensures that the products produced comply with the quality standards.

• Checks with Production Line Supervisors that they have adequate manpower at all times based on the weekly production schedule.

• Monitors and improves manpower efficiency (e.g., man-hour/carton) for all production lines.

• Oversees the monitoring of machine performance to avoid breakdowns and downtime and executes repairs and routine maintenance tasks based on the approved preventive maintenance plan.

• Oversees the completion of plant trials on time.

• Recommends machine improvements to the Plant Manager and Engineering team to increase machine performance efficiency.

• Coordinates with the Engineering team to ensure that all machines are operating properly and efficiently.

• Evaluates current production processes and equipment to recommend improvements in the production efficiency.

• Creates and implements the Action Plan that will address manufacturing inefficiencies identified in production.

• Coordinates with Warehouse team to ensure that raw, packaging, and general materials required for production are sufficient at all times.

• Finds ways to reduce scrap and re-work costs.

• Evaluates recommendation of production line supervisors in increasing material usage efficiency and presents the best approach to the Plant Manager.

• Manages the entire Production team (Production and In-Line Maintenance) to achieve their performance targets.

• Develops the skills of direct reports to enhance their job performances and addresses employee grievances within one's team.

This could be for you if you’re:

• A Graduate of Electrical Engineering. Must be licensed in their line of profession.

• With at least 2 years related work experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably from an FMCG industry or Food and Beverage segments.

• With expert skill and knowledge on food manufacturing production process, food processing equipment, packaging system, and food safety regulations and compliance.

• With strong leadership attributes.

• Willing to be based in Tanza, Cavite
