Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking an IT professional responsible for incident response, availability, performance, efficiency, change and problem management, and capacity planning for all production environments supported by the team.

The role includes incident isolation and troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing changes per operations guidelines to ensure system uptime and optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
• At least 4-5 years of experience in IT.
• At least 1 year exposure to infrastructure support.

Responsibilities

• Incident response, isolation and troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause and problem analysis.
• Provide findings and recommendations to resolve incidents or recurring issues.
• Implement changes following operations guidelines and policies.
• Monitor and manage all production systems in scope.
• Ensure availability and performance using tools/scripts.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Conduct capacity planning and preventive maintenance.
