Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Bulacan is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure product quality and adherence to GMP standards. This role is well-suited for fresh graduates with a B.S. in Food Technology or equivalent. Responsibilities include monitoring production quality, preparing machinery, and maintaining cleanliness. The position is on-site in Bulacan and encourages applicants with at least 6 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GMP rules.
• Monitor quality of produced products.
• Prepare production line and machine settings.
• Conduct line inspections and report problems.
• Checks weight, sealing integrity, codes readability and sachet appearance.
• Lifts laboratory samples as per sampling plan.
• Reports production problems to Production and QA Head.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper turnover between shifts.
• Performs line inspection and ensures QA standards are met.
• Monitors product quality and reports abnormalities promptly.

Overview

On-site - Bulacan Fresh Graduate/Student Bachelor Full-time

Responsibilities

• Adheres to GMP rules for personnel all the time.
• Prepares the production line as to GMP requirements.
• Prepares and/or counterchecks the machines settings to ensure correct parameter setting.
• Ensures that all production paraphernalia, like powder, container, sieves for cut-open, working table and calibrated weighing balance are all in good condition.
• Checks condition of filling / dry mixing and batch preparation room are within specified limits.
• Checks and monitors quality of products produced as to correct weight per sachet and/or strip, integrity of sealing, readability and correctness of codes and appearance of sachet.
• Lifts laboratory samples as per sampling plan.
• Reports all production problems encountered during the shift and reports to Production and Quality Assurance Head.
• Ensures that non-conforming products are properly segregated. Powder for disposal from cut-open materials should be properly accounted.
• Cleans the production area and removes accumulated waste from the production line activities.
• Does proper turnover with co-worker of the next immediate shift.
• Sensory Panelist of finished products and bulk powder produced.
• Reports to General Operator in case of abnormalities and problems encountered during machine trouble.
• Conducts Line inspection.
• Ensures that the product, working conditions and work processes are consistent, and within the quality and quantity standards of the 3rd party client.
• Performs other functions and duties as maybe assigned or called for by his superiors.
• Responsible in checking and recording of quality of product produced, and in accordance with QMS standard.
• Monitors cleanliness of working areas such as walls, floors, air handling units, machines and equipment.
• Coordinates with other departments regarding matters relevant to his scope of responsibilities.
• Graduate of B.S. Food Technology or B.I.T Food Technology or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

At least 6 months of working experience as a QC Inspector acquired in the food manufacturing company or in any company/ and or 6 months OJT in the company are sufficient to take up this job.
