TP ICAP seeks a Production Engineering Team Lead in Manila to lead a team responsible for stability, reliability, and operational performance of trading platforms. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people and process ownership, handling major incidents, change activity, and problem management with stakeholders across engineering, platform, and business sides.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid understanding of AWS operational environments and services.
• Experience supporting business-critical trading/front-office applications.
• Deep knowledge of market data flows and pricing mechanisms.
• Ability to diagnose backend issues from logs with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production issue management and act as senior escalation point for high-impact incidents.
• Own overall production health, monitoring coverage, alert quality and standards.
• Ensure operational readiness across platforms and regions through process ownership.
• Define observability priorities and ensure meaningful monitoring aligned with risk.
• Oversee change governance, balancing delivery velocity with stability and risk.
• Coordinate major incidents with leadership, ensuring clear ownership and communication.
• Drive reliability improvements and embed lessons into tooling and processes.
• Set reliability improvement priorities and roadmaps aligned with business needs.
• Interface between production engineering, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Sponsor automation initiatives to maximize operational value.
