Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Taguig, Philippines seeks a hands-on technical leader to drive production engineering excellence, owning people, priorities, and processes while ensuring reliability across platforms.

You will oversee incident management, change governance, and reliability improvements, champion automation and observability, and serve as the primary interface with engineering, delivery, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

Proven L2/L3 application support and team leadership experience.
Candidates with no Leadership background can be considered for Senior level.
Strong skills in AWS, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, Splunk).
Database knowledge (Oracle/MySQL/MSSQL) and OS expertise (Linux/Unix/Red Hat).
Excellent communication skills and exposure to AI-driven automation.
Nice to have: SRE knowledge or willingness to upskill.

Responsibilities

Lead production issue management and act as senior escalation point.
Own production health, monitoring, and operational readiness.
Govern change activity, balancing delivery speed with stability.
Coordinate major incidents and problem management outcomes.
Define and deliver reliability improvement priorities.
Champion automation and observability initiatives.
Act as the primary interface with engineering, delivery, and business stakeholders.
