Job summary

FURUKAWA ELECTRIC THERMAL MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS AND PRODUCTS LAGUNA, INC. is seeking a Production Engineer to monitor, supervise, and improve production operations for maximum efficiency and quality.

You will coach team members, troubleshoot defects, and implement process improvements across SOPs. You will analyze KPIs, prepare reports for management, lead daily reviews with HOAs, and drive continuous quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years in a production engineering role in manufacturing.
• Experience monitoring KPIs to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
• Experience leading process improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma.
• Supervising and developing teams with training and mentoring.
• Familiarity with quality control and RCFA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs and production performance, identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare KPI reports and present to management.
• Lead regular meetings with Heads of Area (HOA) to review results and initiatives.
• Oversee hourly and daily outputs to align with production schedules.
• Assist in SOP improvements to boost productivity and yield.
• Conduct RCFA and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with inventory control to ensure material availability.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to achieve production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
