Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Production Scheduler for manpower, machine and materials based on shipment schedule.
• Set up and organize production based on planned daily production.
• Orient operators on KPI targets related to production productivity.
• Conduct toolbox meetings with production operators and discuss KPI targets.
• Perform line monitoring and ensure compliance to production requirements and standards.
• Report any operational line abnormalities or target failure and other related issues; propose improvements.

EDUCATION:

• College level or at least Highschool graduate

GENERAL SKILLS:

• Basic supervisory / leadership skills
• Good communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
• Computer Literate Knowledgeable on problem solving techniques
• Flexible in a manufacturing set-up

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Knowledgeable on basic electro / mechanical equipment.

AUTHORITY:

• Recommend to appraise/evaluate operator performance and recommends for possible promotion.
• Recommend application for leaves and change shift of subordinates.
• Recommend hiring and staffing of employees for the section.
• Recommend line stop as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate with the Production Scheduler for the preparation of the manpower, machine and materials based on shipment schedule.
• Set-up and organize production based on planned daily production.
• Orient / discuss to operators the production Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets related to production productivity.
• Conduct toolbox meetings with the production operators and discuss the ffg.

1. Discuss the production target and planned schedule.

2. Discuss the quality, safety and other SOP concerns.

• Perform line monitoring and ensure compliance to production requirements and standards.

1. Completeness and accuracy of data at the DPOR, Lot card and other check sheets.

2. Compliance to work instruction and other SOP (quality and health & safety).

3. Check for any possible concern of operators related to their process.

• Call the attention of a technician for any machine or equipment related concerns /issues.
• Call the attention of the production engineer / FA engineer for any quality concerns / issues.
• Check and monitor operator performance (My Performance).
• Report any operational line abnormalities or target failure and other related issues.
• Recommend new and efficient production line methods and process to improve existing operations.
• Responsible for training, coaching and assisting production operators for the new or existing methods.
• Implement 5S at all times and promote a good work environment / culture in the production team.
• Perform other duties assigned by immediate superior.
