Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. Philippines - Mphilip is seeking a Technician II to provide engineering support in product setup, testing, and issue isolation.

You will perform verification and first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues during production test, while collaborating with engineers on requirements and quality improvements. Qualified candidates have a BS in Electronics Technology and at least two years of hands-on experience with ATE equipment, RF, mixed-signal and digital

Qualifications

• BS Electronics Technology or related technical/vocational course.
• 2 years working experience in a related field.
• Good in electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Team player and able to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work independently and systematically.
• Basic knowledge in programming languages such as C/C++.
• Familiarity with RF, Mixed Signal and Digital product testing.
• Hands-on experience with ATE such as Nextest testers, Credence D10, LTX Fusion, M3650, M3300, LTX DiamondX, Spea C600, Advantest V93K, Teradyne and similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support in product setup and problem isolation.
• Perform verification and first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues during production test.
• Collaborate with Engineers on test requirements and quality improvements.
• Support test package qualification and releases, hardware maintenance.
• Contribute to achieving departmental goals and process improvements.
