Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. seeks an Electronics/Test Engineer to provide engineering support in product set-up, verification, and root cause analysis during production testing at our Calamba, Laguna site.

The role requires a BS in Electronics Technology, 2 years of experience, strong electronics fundamentals, and excellent communication. Proficiency in MS Office, teamwork, and hands-on ATE experience with Nextest, Credence D10, and other testers are essential for success.

Qualifications

BS Electronics Technology or related technical/vocational course.
2 years of working experience.
Strong electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.
Good oral and written communication.
Proficient in MS Office.
Team player with effective communication.
Ability to work independently and systematically.
Basic knowledge in C/C++ programming.
Familiarity with RF, mixed signal and digital product testing.
Hands-on experience with ATE equipment such as Nextest, Credence D10, LTX Fusion, and others.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support in product set-up and problem isolation.
Perform verification and first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues during production test.
Collaborate with Engineers on test requirements, quality improvements, test package qualification and releases, and hardware maintenance.
Participate in meeting departmental goals and ensuring timely, accurate documentation.
