Job summary

Canon Business Services Centre Philippines is seeking an Inventory Planner to support stock control and forecasting across Oceania. You will maintain ERP profiles, analyze sales history, and ensure timely stock availability.

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors, drive process improvements, and generate reports to inform decision making. Flexible working arrangements are available in the organization.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in product planning, inventory coordination or supply chain management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including macro and pivot).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skill in identifying inventory-related issues and developing effective solutions to minimise customer impact.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferred) and familiarity with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
  • Technical aptitude to understand product configurations.
  • Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor & maintain accurate stock levels across Oceania.
  • Maintain Product profiles in ERP system as required.
  • Forecast demand for Canon Inc. and local products using sales history and inventory targets.
  • Execute Inventory related transactions in line with established processes.
  • Learn and maintain proficiency in Canon Inc. and vendor systems, as applicable.
  • Provide timely and adequate reports, stock availability information and ETAs to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure correct use and protection of Canon assets.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities and recommend periodic write-offs.
  • Support initiatives to reduce aged stock through proactive sales strategies.
  • Deliver allocated projects within agreed timelines.

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Effectively handle customer feedback in accordance with company guidelines to maintain high satisfaction levels
Process
  • Manage backorders and stock allocations
  • Maintain Inventory data within ERP for operational continuity
  • Manage procurement, forecasting, and stock analysis to achieve optimum supply ratios
  • Review slow moving inventory and take collaborative action to minimise write offs
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of model configurations
People
  • Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams
  • Promote vision and values of division and company
  • Identify skill and knowledge gaps and work with team leader/manager to address development needs
  • Ensure compliance with all Canon policies and procedures

Project

  • Deliver allocated projects within agreed timelines
