Job summary

Union Bank of the Philippines seeks a Product Manager for Corporate Product Management (Pooling) to lead end-to-end management of cash management products from Pasig, Metro Manila. The role partners with sales, relationship managers, operations, IT, risk and external vendors to deliver innovative client solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance and successful product implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the banking industry.
• Proven track record in product development, lifecycle management, and strategy execution.
• Experience in Check Deposit, Cash Management, Mobile Channel Solutions, Collections or Disbursement is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Job Title: Product Manager-Corprate Product Management

About the Role

This role will lead the end-to-end management and growth of corporate cashmanagement products, driving profitability, revenue generation, and marketcompetitiveness through strategic product development and lifecycle management.Partner closely with sales, relationship managers, operations, IT, risk,compliance, and external vendors to deliver innovative client solutions, ensuresuccessful product implementation, and maintain regulatory compliance.Responsible for identifying market opportunities, developing new product capabilities,and executing commercialization strategies that support business growth andclient needs.

What You'll Do

1. Manages cash management products by:

• Analyzing andensuring the profitability of the product volume, ADB and revenues
• Conceptualizingmarketing plans and selling strategies to push product sales and productconversations to generate business volumes and achieve bottom linerevenues
• Ensuringexecution of the product implementation, includes participating in ICRdiscussion and coordinating with onboarding sales, operations, IT, andrisk
• Ensuringcompliance to all regulatory and legal policies
• Workingclosely with sales team and RMs for customized deals
• Analyzing thecost of the product managed, providing recommendations for lowering costand conducting competitive pricing of products handled
• Performingconstant competitive analysis
• Providingassistance, as needed, in helping resolve client specific concerns
• Recommendingany ICRs for approval of the TBC head , sales head or product head
• Workingclosely with vendors

2. Under the supervision of senior productmanager, develop innovative product variants to cater to the growing needs andrequirements of clients and ensure continued product superiority which willtranslate to business volumes

• Interfacingwith the sales team and RMs to ensure that products being developed meetthe customer requirements
• Preparing theconcept approval to obtain senior management approval for a projectincluding financial requirements
• Leading aproject team composed of various stakeholders such as operations, risk,compliance legal, finance and IT to develop solutions, based on customerrequirements
• Ensuring thatdeadlines for the product are met and escalated to the Senior Manager /Product Head in case of delays or difficulties
• Seeking BSPapproval and preparing marketing plans prior to the commercialization ofproduct

3. Responsible for overall product managementof product/s handled

4. Performs other duties as may be assigned

What We're Looking For
