Job summary

FinCom Technologies is hiring a Product Manager to own the Retail Media area for MallPlus, a mobile-first e-commerce marketplace in the Philippines. You will turn our retail media strategy into paid products, align with sellers, shoppers, and finance, and define specs for builds.

You will own PRDs, break them into Jira stories, study market leaders, run backlog, conduct UAT, and collaborate on pricing, policies, and rollout with Commercial, Marketing and Finance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in product management, product ownership, or a performance or ad-ops role that has moved toward product, ideally at an e-commerce, marketplace, ad-tech or fintech company.
  • A working understanding of how digital ads work: CPC/CPM, auctions and bidding, budgets, attribution and ROAS.
  • Experience with promotions or campaigns (vouchers, discounts, flash sales) and the rules that keep them from being abused.
  • Comfort with data. You can build a funnel, read a campaign dashboard and back up a recommendation with numbers. SQL is a plus.
  • Strong writing. You can state a billing or eligibility rule so a developer can't misread it.
  • H hands-on with Agile/Scrum and Jira.

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain PRDs for your area. The PRD is our single source of truth: every rule is written down once, with no open questions before build starts.
  • Break PRDs into Jira stories with testable acceptance criteria (Given/When/Then) so engineers can build without guessing.
  • Study how leading marketplaces and ad platforms run retail media, and adapt what fits our stage and sellers.
  • Run your backlog, answer developer questions in writing during the sprint, and confirm the build matches the approved design.
  • Run UAT for your features, testing as a seller who buys ads, a shopper who sees them and an admin who runs campaigns, then give the go/no-go.
  • Work with Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Operations on pricing, ad policy, voucher budgets and launch readiness.
  • Track ad revenue, seller adoption, ROAS and voucher redemption, and turn what you learn into the next roadmap.
  • Use AI tools to speed up specs, analysis and QA.

Job description

MallPlus is a mobile-first e-commerce marketplace built inside one of the Philippines' largest fintech super-apps. We're now building our own retail media and marketing products: the tools sellers use to advertise, run promotions and grow their stores, and the tools our team uses to run platform-wide campaigns.

We're hiring aProduct Manager to own this area and turn our retail media strategy into products that sellers pay for, shoppers trust and finance can reconcile.

What you'll own

  • Sponsored listings and seller ads. Pay-per-click promoted products, bidding and budgets, ad placement in search and on the homepage, and seller-facing ad performance reporting (impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS).

  • Ads wallet and billing. How sellers top up, how ad spend gets charged, and how every peso of ad revenue reconciles.

  • Seller marketing tools. Seller-funded vouchers, promotions and shop decoration.

  • Platform campaigns. Platform-funded vouchers, mega-sale campaigns, homepage banners, and tracking for off-platform campaigns.

  • Measurement. Proving that ads and promotions drive sales, using purchase data most ad platforms can't see.

What you'll do

What you bring

  • Hands-on with Agile/Scrum and Jira.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience running or building sponsored-product, search or social ad campaigns, whether as an advertiser or on the platform side.

  • Exposure to a CDP, audience segmentation or the Data Privacy Act in a marketing context.

  • CSPO, PSPO or a digital marketing certification.

  • You'll build a new revenue line from an early stage, not maintain someone else's.

  • Our access to real purchase data gives us an attribution advantage most marketplaces can't match.

  • You'll work in a clear operating model (PRD-first, Decide Before Build) with a team that uses AI tools heavily in day-to-day product work.
