Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking an experienced IC characterization engineer in the Philippines to develop ATE test programs and characterization plans for chip IP features. You will execute wafer- and bench-based testing across varying conditions, analyze data to set datasheet parameters, and work with design, applications, and QA teams.

The role requires a BS in a related field, 2+ years of IC validation experience, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Product Engineering or Si Validation/Characterization.
• BS degree in ECE/CoE/EE/Physics.
• Good working knowledge of semiconductor devices and test methodologies.
• Experience with ATE test programs (Nextest Magnum, Advantest T2K).
• Experience in hardware development (bench board).
• Experience in IC validation/characterization with bench tools.
• Experience with wafer sort, package assembly, final test.
• Experience in RTL design/verification, Verilog/VHDL an advantage.
• Programming knowledge in Python/C++.
• Knowledge in Statistical Process Control and yield analysis.
• Excellent English, cross-cultural collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATE test and characterization programs.
• Develop characterization test plans for chip IP features.
• Execute characterization across process, temperature, and voltage conditions.
• Apply statistical analysis to define data sheet parameters and report results.
• Coordinate root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement test circuits using FPGA fabric and embedded IP.
• Develop bench automation and data collection scripts.
• Design and develop ATE and bench hardware.
• Drive product issues to resolution.
• Plan testing of samples and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Analyze and report test yield and test time.
