REED ELSEVIER SHARED SERVICES (PHILIPPINES) INC. is seeking a Product Education Designer to craft engaging user education across help content, product docs, onboarding, and motion-driven tutorials.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, Research and Support teams to scale self-service content and animations that simplify complex workflows and boost adoption. A strong After Effects portfolio is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Technical Writing, UX Writing, Content Design, Knowledge Management, Instructional Design and Product Education.
• Experience creating Help-center content, Knowledge-base articles, User guides, Product documentation, SOPs and onboarding content.
• Motion Design is mandatory; advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Portfolio required: separate technical writing and motion design portfolios.
• Applicants must provide both portfolios; otherwise not considered.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Help-center articles, Knowledge-base content, user guides, product documentation, FAQs and onboarding materials.
• Produce motion design content including animated videos and product walkthroughs.
• Develop contextual in-product guidance, tooltips and guided tours with UX collaboration.
• Use analytics and feedback to measure and improve educational content and onboarding experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are seeking a Product Education Designer to create engaging user education experiences that help customers successfully adopt and use our products.

This role combines technical writing, UX content design, knowledge management, and motion design. You will create help-center articles, product documentation, onboarding experiences, interactive guidance, and animated instructional videos that simplify complex workflows and improve user adoption.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Researchers, and Customer Support teams to develop scalable self-service content that enables users to quickly learn, understand, and confidently use product features.

A strong portfolio demonstrating both technical content creation and motion design using Adobe After Effects is required.

• Collaborate with UX and Product teams to produce engaging educational content.

User Guidance Design

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of experience in Technical Writing, UX Writing, Content Design, Knowledge Management, Instructional Design and Product Education.
• Experience creating Help-center content, Knowledge-base articles, User guides, Product documentation, SOPs and Product onboarding content.
• Motion Design (MANDATORY)
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
  • Experience creating Product walkthrough videos, Animated tutorials, Explainer videos, Feature launch videos and Motion graphics.
  • Experience developing Storyboards, Scripts and Animation assets.
• Portfolio Requirement (MANDATORY) Applicants must provide:
  • Technical writing portfolio containing Help articles, Knowledge-base content, Product documentation and User guides.
  • Motion design portfolio containing Adobe After Effects work, Product walkthrough videos, Animated tutorials, Instructional videos and Motion graphics.
