Job summary

Outsourcey in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Motion Designer to create world class 2D & 3D motion graphics for diverse clients and large-scale events. You will design storyboards, develop layouts, and deliver animations that meet brand and budget constraints.

The role requires 4+ years in a similar position, a Bachelor’s in Motion Design or related field, and strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

Profile Requirements

• Previous Experience/Knowledge
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design or similar field.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in fast- paced environment.
• A strategic consultant with creative and commercial thinking.
• Highly innovative when it comes to being creative with a great eye for design and conception and proficient with using Adobe Creative Suite and/ or any other design software.

Technical Skills

• After Effects - Very high proficiency, bonus points for deep experience with a range of plug-ins such as, Optical Flares.
• Multiple solutions to motion design execution.
• C4D or Blender - High level of skill with Lighting, texturing, procedural animation, rendering, particles, dynamics, sculpting (solid understanding).
• Wide range of animation skill set (2D, 3D, vector, photoshop, VFX).
• Proven and excellent understanding of Animation Principles, with the ability to apply them across a range of projects with striking results.
• A highly developed design aesthetic (ability to apply a designer’s eye to video work is critical).
• Extensive experience delivering high volumes of motion graphics in unusual shapes and pixel dimensions for large screens.
• Finger on the pulse of the latest techniques, technology and creative trends.
• Able to offer creative motion design ideas that are on brand, achievable within the allocated time and budget.
• Well versed in a wide range of video codecs.
• Has a solid working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
• Experience creating video content for use in Keynote will be highly regarded.
• Prior experience creating architectural pre-Vis using UnReal Engine will be highly regarded.

Core responsibilities

• Creating world class 2D & 3D motion graphics for a wide range of clients across a varied array of screen types, sizes and proportions
• Design and development of storyboards for motion projects, developing layout and concept designs for approvals.
• Provide a range of creative concepts and solutions to motion design projects
• Responsible for animating content for large scale event content and internal projects.
• Work with the greater Encore Event Technologies team, such as Technical Directors, Experiential Designers and Sales Leads, on allocated projects ensuring creative briefs are met.
• Manage multiple, simultaneous projects to reach targets, staying on schedule and on budget.
• Lead development of design trends and direction. Provide a “continuous improvement” environment through these influences
• Update weekly WIP reports and action as required
• Working with the Content Manager to develop and implement better design and infrastructure practices to increase success percentages
• Meet internal timeframes and deadlines as agreed to in weekly WIP meetings.
• Develop and promote the Creative Department.
• Provide creative solutions with a strong emphasis on innovation.
• Quote Multimedia service costs for both internal and external clients as required.
• Discretion at all times with regards to confidential matters and content.
• Assist in positioning Encore Event Technologies as a valuable and ongoing production partner as opposed to an AV & Staging supplier.
