Job summary

goFLUENT is seeking a creative multimedia designer to craft language teaching videos and assets that align with project requirements. You will work with instructional designers to develop visually compelling, instructional content and maintain high-quality output.

This hybrid role requires Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency and a portfolio demonstrating multimedia production. Eastwood, QC-based with opportunities to grow in a global EdTech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• A college degree (Visual Communication, Multimedia Arts/Design or equivalent)
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects
• Experience in multimedia production with a portfolio of instructional content
• Keen attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions and feedback
• Strong research skills and proactive problem-solving in instructional design
• Growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional improvement
• Positive, can-do attitude for routine tasks and fast-paced environments

What You’ll Do

1. apply instructional design principles to conceptualize, produce, and edit language teaching videos that are aligned with project and business requirements;

2. produce, edit, format, and organize multimedia assets (images, graphics, videos, audio files) that enhance learning while ensuring strict adherence to project and business requirements;

3. leverage AI-powered tools and automated macros to optimize batch processing and maintain high-quality output;

4. provide technical support, troubleshooting, and file fixes for all multimedia assets;

5. collaborate closely with Instructional Designers, managers, and other stakeholders to gather and share information, actively contribute to the instructional design process, provide regular project updates, and solve project challenges;

6. actively explore new tools and EdTech trends to ensure multimedia assets remain competitive and innovative;

7. perform other multimedia duties aligned with the team's evolving priorities.

What You’ll Need

3. expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects) and other graphic design applications;

4. experience in multimedia production, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to produce visually compelling, instructionally effective content;

5. keen attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions and apply feedback effectively;

6. strong research skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving that enable you to apply instructional design principles to multimedia while balancing creative choices with business objectives;

7. a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous professional improvement;

8. a positive, can-do attitude to tackle routine tasks, adapt when priorities shift, and remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the following is not required but is a PLUS:

• generative AI;

• language teaching;

• workflow automation tools;

• middle or high school educational settings.
