Job summary

HelloConnect in Manila is seeking a Procurement Team Leader to guide a Purchasing Coordinators team within the NA Supply Chain Enablement function. You will drive operations, ensure data integrity, and optimize purchasing performance across regions.

The role emphasizes leadership, KPI governance, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning supplier management, invoicing accuracy, and cross-region collaboration. A strong background in procurement and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• At least a four-year college graduate preferably with a strong background in Supply Chain Operations, Management or any Business-related course.
• At least three years experience working within procurement, supply chain and/or as a data entry clerk. At least one year of people management experience is required.
• Experience managing or reporting on KPIs.
• Experience in SOP development and implementation.
• Strong coaching, performance management, and feedback skills.
• Ability to delegate tasks, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems, Google Workspace, inventory management, and transportation management systems.
• Experience using AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Purchasing Coordinators to accurately and efficiently carry out purchasing activities.
• Partner with local HelloConnect supply chain cluster teams to execute daily operations with governance.
• Ensure data accuracy and correct flow of information to stakeholders.
• Drive team performance and accountability across core metrics including OTIF and timely invoicing.
• Own inbound supply chain operations including supplier management and KPI tracking.
• Define governance and reporting framework to escalate risks in NA supply chain.
• Establish and drive consistency across regions and balance workload.
• Generate SOPs to ensure onboarding and BAU operations for the team.
• Pursue continuous improvement by harmonizing and automating purchasing processes.
• Report performance to key stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
• Provide guidance and feedback to meet performance goals and deadlines.
• Act as subject matter expert and model problem solving behaviors.
• Remain flexible to changing business needs and cover absences when required.
