Job summary

DOF Group in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join our expanding team. This permanent role requires an immediate start and supports day-to-day procurement of spare parts, consumables and services for operational assets.

You will coordinate with suppliers, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely invoicing while upholding DOF procurement procedures. English proficiency and IT system knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Logistics or related field.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain within Marine, Oil & Gas.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge of IT systems and procurement software (IFS, TM Master, Unit4 UBW, Basware is a plus).
• Strong coordination and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Support operational procurement of spare parts, consumables and/or services for one or more operational assets.
• Forwards spares and other commodities for all types of forwarding modes except urgent
• Contacts and problem-solves with vendors and suppliers;
• Maintain and further develop positive performance driven relationships between key business unit stakeholders and DOF procurement
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure availability items and smooth operation on-board the vessel
• Provide input on supplier performance based on daily interaction
• Ensure timely payment of invoices
• All roles and responsibilities should be performed in compliance to the standard process
