Job summary

DOF in the Philippines is expanding its team and seeks an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join permanently with an immediate start. The role offers exposure to marine and subsea supply chains within a global energy context.

You will support day-to-day procurement of spare parts, consumables and services for operational assets, coordinate with suppliers on orders and deliveries, monitor performance, and ensure timely payments while adhering to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Logistics or related field; relevant experience acceptable.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics or supply chain, preferably in maritime/oil & gas.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement software and IT systems (IFS, TM Master, Unit4/UBW, Basware advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day procurement of spare parts, consumables and services for assets.
• Coordinate with suppliers on orders, deliveries and issues; arrange freight forwarding.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure timely invoice payments and compliance with procurement procedures.
• Identify suppliers and evaluate availability to ensure smooth operations onboard.
• Provide input on supplier performance based on daily interactions.
• Ensure compliance with standard procurement processes and internal controls.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement efficiency.
