Job summary

Homni (Phils) Electronics Corporation, based in the Philippines, is seeking a Purchasing Staff to join our procurement team at our Lipa City Batangas facility. This full-time role supports manufacturing operations through sourcing, negotiation, and effective inventory management to ensure cost-efficiency across the organisation.

You will process purchase orders, identify suppliers, and coordinate with production to forecast needs while maintaining compliant purchasing records and strong vendor

Qualifications

• College graduate in logistics, supply chain, or related field with a preference for business administration.
• 2–4 years of purchasing, procurement, or inventory management experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and MS Office applications (Excel/Word).
• Strong negotiation and vendor-relationship skills with clear communication.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail to manage multiple POs and deadlines.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices in procurement.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, and logistics.
• Problem-solving ability and capacity to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with cost analysis and budget management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and manage vendor communications for timely delivery.
• Conduct market research and identify suppliers offering quality materials at competitive prices.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to optimise costs.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with production to forecast needs.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for audits.
• Resolve supply chain issues including discrepancies, returns, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specs.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliability and consistency.
• Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and procurement process improvements.
