Job summary

SM Development Corporation is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage purchase orders, ensure adherence to procurement processes, and develop category strategies to achieve cost efficiencies. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to secure best value.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least one year in procurement, with SAP S/4HANA experience being a plus. This on-site role is based in Pasay, Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Management or any related course.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement handling services and marketing categories.
• Experience in using SAP S/4HANA in procurement.

Responsibilities

• Timely release of purchase orders to all purchase requisitions.
• Ensure compliance of all stakeholders to established procurement processes.
• Develop and execute category strategies, including cost-effective contracting with best-in-class suppliers and identifying opportunities for cost reduction, improvements in service levels and risk mitigation.
• Closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, to understand requirements and scope and effectively communicate it with all parties.
• Assess should-be costs and market trends and effectively negotiate to provide best value to all parties.
