Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year business-related course or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Can coordinate effectively with suppliers and different departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase requests from different departments, including Commissary, Stock Room, and Ice Laboratory.
• Consolidate item requirements, quantities, and requested delivery dates.
• Check inventory and coordinate with concerned departments to verify stock availability.
• Canvass suppliers and request quotations for products and materials.
• Compare supplier prices, product specifications, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved requests and supplier quotations.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmation, product availability, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor pending orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival.
• Check delivered items, quantities, expiration dates, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding incorrect, damaged, or problematic deliveries and necessary pull-out requests.
• Maintain and organize purchase requests, quotations, purchase orders, delivery receipts, and other purchasing documents.
