Job summary

Therma Luzon, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist for project-based work, onsite at Pasig and Pagbilao, Quezon. The role focuses on end-to-end procurement, contracting, and supplier management to support O&M across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in SCM or related fields and hold a 4-year business or engineering degree. The position requires strong coordination with vendors and internal teams, with emphasis on compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or related fields.
• Education: Any 4‑year business‑related or engineering‑related course.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities for Operations and Maintenance items across assigned sites, ensuring PR completeness, applying sourcing strategies, sourcing qualified vendors, and evaluating proposals on a level playing field.
• Conduct cost analysis, create/recommend contract templates based on risk analysis, and prepare, negotiate, and award POs, Contracts, or Notices to Proceed (NTPs).
• Issue approved POs/contracts to suppliers, cascade details to contract administrators, monitor delivery timelines, and manage change orders/contract variations.
• Handle collaboration meetings to resolve contractual claims (rejections, short shipments, warranty, or insurance claims).
• Conduct due diligence on vendor facilities when needed and endorse new suppliers for accreditation or existing vendors for re-accreditation.
• Participate in opportunity identification/analysis and execute assigned contracting plans; conduct supply chain risk analysis to ensure continuity of supply.
• Coordinate with insurers, forwarders, brokers, and logistics services for proper goods handling; handle bidding and execution for scrap disposal in coordination with Payables and Warehouse teams.
• Foster relationships with suppliers to resolve payment issues, prepare Requests for Payments (RFPs) aligned with contract rates, and coordinate with SCM Business Services to resolve system issues (Maximo, Oracle) and process optimizations.
• Implement and execute the realization of benefits from Supply and Service Agreements (SSAs) executed by the CMSS team.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Execution of Procurement: Execute procurement activities for Operations and Maintenance items across assigned sites, ensuring PR completeness, applying sourcing strategies, sourcing qualified vendors, and evaluating proposals on a level playing field.
• Contracting & Purchase Orders: Conduct cost analysis (incorporating VAT zero‑rating, tax treaties, etc.), create/recommend contract templates based on risk analysis from technical/legal/commercial teams, and prepare, negotiate, and award POs, Contracts, or Notices to Proceed (NTPs).
• Order Tracking & Claims: Issue approved POs/contracts to suppliers, cascade details to contract administrators, monitor delivery timelines, and manage change orders/contract variations. Handle collaboration meetings to resolve contractual claims (rejections, short‑shipments, warranty, or insurance claims).
• Vendor Accreditation: Conduct due diligence on vendor facilities when needed and endorse new suppliers for accreditation or existing vendors for re‑accreditation.
• Planning & Risk Support: Participate in opportunity identification/analysis conducted by the PO Supervisor and execute assigned contracting plans. Conduct supply chain risk analysis to ensure continuity of supply.
• Logistics & Scrap Disposal: Coordinate with insurers, forwarders, brokers, and logistics services for proper goods handling. Handle bidding and execution for scrap disposal in coordination with Payables and Warehouse teams.
• Financial & System Coordination: Foster relationships with suppliers to resolve payment issues, prepare Requests for Payments (RFPs) aligned with contract rates, and coordinate with SCM Business Services to resolve system issues (Maximo, Oracle) and process optimizations.
• Agreement Realization: Implement and execute the realization of benefits from Supply and Service Agreements (SSAs) executed by the Category Management and Strategic Sourcing (CMSS) team.
