Job Requirements:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) / Architecture / Technical Course Relevant to Construction
- At least 3 - 5 years of relative experience in purchasing and subcontracting
- With an understanding and working knowledge of construction materials and vendor contracts or agreements.
- With excellent communication skills, good commercial acumen, and knowledge in IT Systems (SAP, MS Office)
- Can start ASAP
Responsibilities:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for driving the initial actions to improve the portfolio of subcontractors, and suppliers, evaluating proposals, and identifying room for improvement in the procurement processes and performance.
- Assessing and recommending the capabilities necessary for subcontractors to maintain the vendors list.
- Studying and sending out the requests for proposals, and handling the communications during tender;
- Evaluating the technical and commercial aspects of proposals, recommending the most competitive proposal, uploading the bid tabulations and other necessary documents in the Procurement Drive, and signing the Tender Support Agreement.
- Checking purchase requisition and its corresponding necessary documents of ongoing projects, revalidating of proposals based on the current conditions ( e.g., the scope of work and schedule), and evaluating proposals based on key performance indicators
- Ensuring that the vendors' pre-order 'meeting is conducted and the sub-contract is in place prior to mobilization
- Examining the changes in the sub-contract (e.g., variations and claims) and keeping track on the subcontractor performance, final account and payment;
