Job Description

The day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing sourcing and procurement strategies, negotiating with transportation vendors, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing the procurement process. The role also involves analyzing market trends and ensuring cost-effective procurement of services critical to the company's operations.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, efficiency, and quality improvements.
• Identify and onboard reliable trucking companies and inland transport providers based on cost, service quality, and compliance.
• Develop long-term relationships with key transport providers to ensure consistent service and priority access.
• Lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Work closely with internal teams (operations, sales, customer service) to ensure smooth execution of transportation services.
• Manage vendor performance and drive continuous improvements in service and product quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management; or experience in the logistics or transportation industry; experience in a business consultancy firm is a big plus
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Knowledge of market analysis and cost modeling
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
