We are looking for a Procurement Leader who thinks like a business owner, not a buyer.
This role is responsible for building a procurement function that protects the company’s resources while enabling business growth. Beyond sourcing and supplier management, the role is expected to establish governance, improve commercial discipline, optimize spend, and create a procurement organization that is trusted by both business leaders and executive management.
Success is not measured by how many purchase orders are processed, but by how effectively procurement improves decision quality, cost efficiency, transparency, and long-term business value.
1. Build Procurement as a Strategic Business Function
Develop the company’s procurement strategy, governance framework, and operating model.
Establish procurement policies, approval authorities, and category management.
Ensure procurement is involved early in business decisions rather than only at the purchasing stage.
Drive procurement maturity from transactional execution to strategic value creation.
Challenge business requirements when appropriate and ensure spending aligns with business priorities.
Lead sourcing strategy, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions.
Optimize total cost of ownership instead of focusing solely on purchase price.
Continuously identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality, speed, and business outcomes.
Build a procurement environment with high standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Ensure procurement decisions are objective, well documented, and auditable.
Identify and manage supplier risks, commercial risks, and operational risks.
Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit to strengthen governance.
Develop a high-performing supplier ecosystem based on capability, reliability, quality, and long-term value.
Build supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement mechanisms.
Maintain healthy strategic partnerships while protecting the company’s commercial interests.
5. Procurement Operations & Digitalization
Improve procurement efficiency through standardization, automation, and digital tools.
Establish procurement dashboards covering spend visibility, supplier performance, savings, cycle time, compliance, and risk.
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement organization.
Foster a culture of ownership, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Raise the overall commercial capability of the procurement team and internal stakeholders.
