Job summary

Shopee in Metro Manila is seeking a procurement professional to lead strategic initiatives, shaping sourcing strategies and driving cost savings. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations to execute end-to-end procurement processes.

You will manage RFPs/RFQs, supplier performance, and governance, while optimizing workflows and enabling automation. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for junior roles with strong potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Open to fresh graduates; 3 years related experience preferred.
• Strong MS Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar financial tools.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing Strategization: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs, sealed bids, and price negotiations.
• Identify supplier opportunities and manage supplier panels.
• Deploy procurement levers to achieve productivity and cost savings targets.
• Implement strategic sourcing best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor savings performance and procurement KPIs to ensure sustainable results.
• Project Leadership & Business Transformation: Lead cross-functional projects to improve procurement processes.
• Identify functional or product gaps and initiate improvement initiatives.
• Design solutions using analytical problem-solving approaches and drive changes with minimal disruption.
• Establish frameworks to measure outcomes and report results to stakeholders.
• Identify automation opportunities from planning to post-implementation.
• Risk Management & Governance: Mitigate procurement-related risks and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Manage procurement performance and expense oversight.
• Operational Excellence: Review requisitions for accuracy, maintain supplier and contract databases, draft and review commercial documents.
• Support supplier performance evaluations.

• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, such as Finance and Legal.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, preferably Industrial Engineering or any relevant study
• Open to fresh graduates
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position
• High proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is a minimum requirement
• Familiarity with any financial tool/software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Knowledgeable on the Source-to-Pay process
• With experience in leading cross-functional projects including automation
• Highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Possesses initiative, resourceful, and proactive attitude
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Ability to effectively organize, plan, ideate, control, and prioritize work/projects
