Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relative field such as business, accounting, engineering or logistics.
• A master’s degree is an advantage which can demonstrate advanced knowledge and help with promotions
• With at least 5 years managerial experience in the hotel industry and casino.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of purchasing from ordering to delivery.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for various goods and services.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure favorable terms.
• Maintain strong relationship with suppliers for quality assurance and reliability.
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with the hotel’s and casino’s operational goal.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand their specific purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Prepare and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring spending aligns with financial targets.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of received goods.
• Generate reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and supplier performance.
• Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Supervise and train purchasing staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities within the purchasing team.
• Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, ensuring continuity of operations.
