Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's operational and business objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, bidding, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and contract administration.
- Identify, evaluate, and accredit suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, competitive pricing, and regulatory compliance.
- Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, service agreements, and long-term contracts with vendors.
- Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Fleet, Engineering, and other departments to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Oversee the procurement of fleet-related requirements, including vehicle parts, tires, fuel, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure the timely procurement of office supplies, IT equipment, facility maintenance materials, and other operational requirements.
- Analyze procurement spending and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and operational efficiency.
- Prepare procurement budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable government regulations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate budgeting, payment processing, and cost control.
- Drive digitalization and process improvements in procurement systems and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, construction, fleet management, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supplier management, contract negotiation, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP, procurement, and inventory management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
