Private Advertiser in Manila is seeking a strategic Head of Procurement to lead hospital sourcing, negotiation and supplier relationship management. The role focuses on cost efficiency, policy development and high-quality procurement for medical and facilities needs.

You will oversee a team, drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance while contributing to overall strategic plans and patient-centered operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
• CPSM or equivalent procurement certification is preferred and highly regarded.
• Proven experience as Head of Procurement or senior procurement leader in healthcare or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies and policies to achieve best value for money and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage the procurement team, providing leadership, coaching and performance management to ensure the delivery of procurement objectives.
• Oversee the sourcing, negotiation and procurement of a diverse range of goods and services, including medical supplies, equipment, facilities management and professional services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable commercial terms and ensure reliable, high-quality delivery.
• Analyse spend data, identify cost savings opportunities and implement measures to optimise procurement processes and inventory management.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the development of the hospital's overall strategic and operational plans.

About the role

Tertiary Hospital in Manila is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Procurement to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the hospital's procurement function, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of essential goods and services to support our patient-centric operations. Based in our Manila City, Metro Manila location, this role is pivotal in driving the hospital's operational efficiency and sustainability.

What you’ll be doing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing procurement team
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent procurement certification
