Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) in Manila is seeking a Procurement Officer to administer procurement, billing and payment processes, ensuring orders and payments are compliant and within the group’s budget.

You will supervise procurement staff, monitor CAPEX/OPEX budgets and review purchase orders and billing documents, driving process improvements and ensuring accurate, timely operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
• 3 years managerial experience in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and budget management.
• Understanding Tax compliance/Accounting and Tax standards.
• Background in bank policies and procedures related to financial management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Billing and Payment operations of FSM, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of billing documents and payments.
• Supervises and guides Procurement Staff, reviews critical reports and hand-offs, and ensures proper execution of billing and payment activities.
• Manages and monitors the Group's CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring expenditures remain within approved allocations and authority limits.
• Reviews and approves purchase orders, and billing documents in accordance with approved budgets, policies, and MOM guidelines.
• Identifies and implements process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement, billing, and payment operations.
