Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing purchase orders and processing requisitions from various departments and stores.
• Maintain and update supplier databases with contact info, pricing, and performance records.
• Monitor inventory levels and help identify purchasing needs from stock data and forecasts.
• Coordinate deliveries, receiving, inspection, and verification of goods against purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and payment documents.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, delivery schedules, and discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
• Support development and maintenance of supplier relationships and negotiate where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Handle procurement administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
